Drop-off: All cars enter the terminal from the north at the intersection of 55th Street and 12th Avenue (State Route 9A) — that is the official vehicle entrance for the whole Manhattan Cruise Terminal, per nycruise.com (cruise.nyc), checked 2026-07-29. Passengers arrive at the street level of the pier where their ship is berthed; signs identifying each vessel are posted on the pillars nearest the correct berth, and porters receive baggage there. If you are driving yourself and parking, the official instruction is to park first and then drop luggage on the second level for check-in — passengers who need parking cannot drop bags first and then park without exiting the terminal.

Parking: Parking is on the pier rooftop and costs $45.00 per night for cruise passengers (rate effective April 1, 2023, per nycruise.com, checked 2026-07-29). Taxes are included, payment is due on arrival, credit card only — cash has not been accepted since January 13, 2020 — and there is no surcharge for SUVs. Cruise parking opens at 8 am with check-out at 3 pm, and the official site notes an 8-foot height restriction for personal vehicles on the rooftop (the same page also lists an 8'3" restriction for passenger vehicles, so measure before you commit). Reservations can be made through the terminal's parking page.
