Cruise Terminal 1 Near Port Canaveral

Drop-off directions, parking info, check-in tips, and ships sailing from Cruise Terminal 1 at Port Canaveral.

Drop-Off & Parking

Drop-Off

Follow George King Blvd to Terminal 1. Passenger drop-off lane is on the right before the parking garage. Unload luggage curbside — porters are right there with carts. Tip $2-3 per bag.

Parking

Park in the CT-1 garage ($17/day). Take the covered walkway directly to the terminal — it's a short walk. Tip: park on levels 3-4 for shade and a quicker exit when you return. Keep your parking ticket in a safe place — you'll need it when you get back.

Check-In Tips

  • Have your boarding pass (app or printed) and government-issued photo ID ready before you reach the check-in desk
  • The TSA-style security line moves fast here — usually under 15 minutes on a normal sailing day
  • Check in online as early as possible to snag the earliest boarding group — this is the single biggest time-saver
  • Terminal 1 handles Royal Caribbean and Celebrity — look for your cruise line's specific signage once inside

Last-Minute Needs

There's a small sundry shop in the terminal lobby with sunscreen, phone chargers, and basic travel items — but prices are cruise-port level. The nearest Walgreens is 5 minutes south on SR-528 (exit at SR-401). If you need a real drugstore run, do it before heading to the terminal.
