Your Terminal

Terminal 4 (Disney Cruise Line)

Drop-off: Terminal 4 is Disney's dedicated terminal in the Northport area. Follow orange Heron signs from any port entrance. Look for Disney signage and cast members ready to help. Drop off luggage curbside — Disney handles it from there.

Parking: Park in Heron Garage — $20/day for cars, $25/day for oversized vehicles. Short walk to Terminal 4. The garage has 1,800 spaces and serves both terminals 2 and 4.

Check-in tips:

  • Complete Disney Cruise Line's online check-in through the Navigator app before arrival
  • Bring your Key to the World card or have it ready on the app — it's your room key, ID, and payment method
  • Disney cast members make the check-in process smooth and magical for kids
  • Port Adventures (shore excursions) can be booked through the Navigator app

Getting to the Port

From Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL)

FLL is just 5 miles from Port Everglades — the closest major airport to any cruise port in the US. It's the only port in the nation located adjacent to an airport.

Uber/Lyft: $15-22 depending on terminal. Taxi: ~$18-21 flat rate. Shared shuttle: $11-19 per person.

From Miami International Airport (MIA)

MIA is about 30-35 miles from Port Everglades. Cheaper flights sometimes make this worth considering, but factor in the longer transfer.

Uber/Lyft: $40-60 depending on traffic. Taxi: ~$75-85.

Driving & Parking at the Port

Port Everglades has two main parking garages: Heron (Northport, terminals 2 & 4) and Palm (Midport/Southport, terminals 19-29). Follow the color-coded signs from any port entrance.

Port parking: $20/day cars, $25/day oversized vehicles. No reservations or pre-payment accepted.

Hotel Shuttle Services

Many hotels near the port offer cruise shuttle packages. Quality and timing vary — some are one-way only with fixed departure times.

Usually included in park & cruise packages ($100-200 total for night + parking + shuttle)

Local Tip

Disney Dream departs from Terminal 4, Disney's dedicated terminal in the Northport area. Follow the orange Heron signs to reach it, and park in Heron Garage at $20/day. The short walk from the garage to Terminal 4 is manageable even with kids. Download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app — your Key to the World card works as room key, ID, and payment method on board. There aren't many stores near Northport, so make your drugstore stop at CVS or Walgreens on SE 17th Street first.
